The links are a little hard to remove, but not impossible. It is not standard pins so if you do not have the knowledge to remove them take it to a store, but it is great. I have Rado's Omega's Tag's Movado's and this is one of my favorites. The movement is great and the chronograph feature is useful and fun to use. The watch is a little heavier than I expected, but the band is very comfortable. Great for any luxury watch collectors. The price has come down a bit ($1761 as of this post - let's call it the Tiger Woods premium) making it an even better deal than when I purchased it. Before ordering, I checked multiple authorized Tag Heuer retailers in the DC-area and did not seen a price better than $3200. However, I did see it with a standard 15% discount at duty-free store in the Caribbean. Regardless, the Amazon price is better: a great deal. <br /> <br />The watch has 2 modes: time and chronograph. In time mode, the two dials at the bottom indicate the date. It has a perpetual calendar, so when you set the time, you must set the year, month, day, hour, minute and second. In chronograph mode, all of the dials function as a count up timer. You can cycle back and forth between time and chronograph mode while the chronograph is running, which, while no Avatar 3D, still looks really cool. <br /> <br />When I first took the watch out of its box, the dials appeared not to line up correctly.
